The Writing on the Wall

I love to be in interesting places. To this end,  I try to make my classroom an interesting place for myself and for my students. I started the year off with a few of my favorite inspirational and motivational posters. As the year has progressed, I have added random things just to keep them guessing. I know they read them because they are always careful to notice when something is moved, or when something is added.

Maybe it is wishful thinking, but I would like to believe that as they are drifting from a lesson, which I at times suspect that they do, they will ponder some of the philosophical material I provide. Believing that it is possible that they are indeed "reading the writing on the wall", I found this little treasure at St. Helens on the Granbury Square and knew right away that this was the perfect addition to the classroom, post Spring Break. I truly hope that it inspires my modest audience as much as it has inspired me!
